It is a known fact that public safety is much better in Khabarovsk
than in the other Russian cities.
Nevertheless one has to be cautious and to follow the below given

• keep an eye on baggage;
• do not walk down the uninhabited streets;
• walk the streets with your fellow-tourists after
it gets dark;
• do not make friends with the carefree people;
• do not ever show your wallet to strangers;
• lock the hotel room every time you are out;
• keep all valuables in the locked baggage or
at the hotel safe box.
At the overcrowded locations like stations, markets etc there can
be pickpockets thus we advise to be extremely careful and watch
your wallets, cameras and other valuables.
