12.05.2014 Victory Day Celebrations in Khabarovsk

May, 9 military parades commemorating the end of the Second World War and the victory over Nazi Germany were held in Moscow and 16 other Russian cities.

Parades took place in Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Ussuriysk and Belogorsk as well. 16 staff battalions, it’s 93 troops and over 7300 people, took part in the event.  Along with the ground forces among the participants of the parade were the Pacific Fleet, the representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Federal Security Service, cadets and veterans.

City guests and citizens had a chance to visit an exhibition of military hardware and armaments, organized at the Amur embankment and try real soldier’s porridge.

In the evening the celebration was finished with a festive firework.
